\cf0 In early 2017 my mother Noelle Zeltzman, was left for dead at her assisted living facility. After reviving her by placing a water-soaked sock in her mouth, I moved us to the house we had just emptied to sell and committed to caring for her 24 hours a day. In order to fulfill a previous commitment to a five-week video job in Massachusetts, I hired two 12-hour aides and installed an Arlo surveillance camera through which I could monitor her (and them) from my phone. I was stunned by the beauty of the footage\'97 the room curved by the fish eye lens, the light changing from white, blue, yellow, orange, and to black-and-white when the camera switched to infrared at dark. Unable to leave her, isolated from my community, and overwhelmed, I chose to treat the experience as a living art project and continued the surveillance. She died on March 15, 2018. Now sifting through hours of video and audio footage that document her steady return to the womb\'97 legs crossed, elbows locked,hands clenched, knees bent, hips and trunk flexed\'97 I am watching myself witness the process of death while participating in my own, continuing my research of self-surveillance and the quotidian.\

\cf5 \cb6 D\'e9but 2017, ma m\'e8re, Noelle Zeltzman, a \'e9t\'e9 laiss\'e9e pour morte dans sa r\'e9sidence-services. Apr\'e8s l'avoir r\'e9anim\'e9e en pla\'e7ant une chaussette imbib\'e9e d'eau dans sa bouche, je nous ai d\'e9m\'e9nag\'e9s dans la maison que nous venions de vider pour la vendre et nous nous sommes engag\'e9s \'e0 prendre soin d'elle 24 heures sur 24. Afin de remplir un engagement ant\'e9rieur \'e0 un travail vid\'e9o de cinq semaines dans le Massachusetts, j'ai embauch\'e9 deux assistants de 12 heures et install\'e9 une cam\'e9ra de surveillance Arlo \'e0 travers laquelle je pouvais la surveiller (et eux) depuis mon t\'e9l\'e9phone. J'ai \'e9t\'e9 stup\'e9fait par la beaut\'e9 des images - la pi\'e8ce incurv\'e9e par l'objectif fish eye, la lumi\'e8re passant du blanc, du bleu, du jaune, de l'orange au noir et blanc lorsque la cam\'e9ra est pass\'e9e \'e0 l'infrarouge dans l'obscurit\'e9. Incapable de la quitter, isol\'e9e de ma communaut\'e9 et submerg\'e9e, j'ai choisi de traiter l'exp\'e9rience comme un projet d'art vivant et j'ai continu\'e9 la surveillance. Elle est d\'e9c\'e9d\'e9e le 15 mars 2018. Maintenant, parcourant des heures de s\'e9quences vid\'e9o et audio qui documentent son retour r\'e9gulier dans l'ut\'e9rus - jambes crois\'e9es, coudes verrouill\'e9s, mains serr\'e9es, genoux pli\'e9s, hanches et tronc fl\'e9chis - je me regarde assister au processus de la mort tout en participant \'e0 la mienne, poursuivant mes recherches sur l'autosurveillance et le quotidien.}
