VIII, chap. 35). Elle donna à l'abbaye de Saint-Sulpice de Rennes la dime de Sérigné (1150), est citée dans plusieurs chartes de son mari (1120, 1125) et postérieurement dans les chartes de ses enfants. Elle mourut avant 1189.Son obit est au 30 novembre dans l'obituaire de Beaulieu et dans celui du chapitre du Mans, auquel elle avait donné des ornements. Elle eut sa sépulture à Evron ." La tour de l'église abbatiale d'Évron reconstruite par les vicomtes du Maine est trop imposante, trop puissante, dans sa construction primitive, telle qu'elle était avant l'ouverture des grandes baies pratiquées pour l'installation de l'escalier monumental du XVIIIe siècle, pour n'avoir pas eu d'autre destination que celle d'un clocher d'église, ou d'un beffroi. On doit y voir en même temps un ouvrage militaire. L'abbaye n'est pas absolument dans l'alignement des forteresses des vicomtes du Maine, mais elle est dans leur domaine avéré ; et le donjon renforce ceux de Sainte-Suzanne, de Courtaliéru et de Thorigné. Ceux qui l'occupaient au nom des moines ou de leur restaurateur pouvaient utilement contribuer à barrer le passage aux envahisseurs du Maine.
